David Fladeboe

David Fladeboe, Public Affairs Associate 


David Fladeboe is a public affairs associate with the Badger Institute, working with the state Legislature, media and other organizations to spread the message of free markets, opportunity and prosperity. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in political science, Fladeboe worked in both the state Senate and Assembly as a staffer to several elected officials. His final position in the Legislature was as policy director to Majority Leader Scott Suder (R-Abbotsford). Fladeboe served in this role during the Act 10 protests and helped pass several prominent reforms.

He then became deputy state director and later state director for Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin. During his time at AFP, he led a grass-roots movement to pass Right to Work legislation, repeal prevailing wage and pass several major tax cuts. He later moved to AFP's national office in Arlington, Virginia, to serve as director of strategy and innovation.

Most recently, Fladeboe served as senior account executive for the consulting firm Persuasion Partners in Madison. There, he worked with campaigns, nonprofits and others to spread the conservative message across Wisconsin and the country.
