talks about lessons learned in Washington D.C., New York and New Richmond, WI.
REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT HAS CLOSED
Robert Doar leads the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), one of the nation’s most influential conservative think tanks. Join us for an incredible evening as Doar weaves together personal anecdotes, statistical insights and his deep ties to the Badger State to discuss how conservatism helps struggling Americans and wins the contest with China.
Doar will describe his Wisconsin roots – including valuable lessons on winning that he learned from his godfather and Packer legend Johnny “Blood” McNally and the importance of servant leadership from his father, John Doar, who was born in New Richmond, WI. His father, who went to Washington during the Eisenhower Administration to work in the Civil Rights Division at the Department of Justice and stayed there through the Kennedy and Johnson years, took his Wisconsin values with him wherever he went.
Developed through 20 years of experience working in anti-poverty programs focused on employment and influenced by his father’s public service, Doar will outline successful conservative approaches to promote work, strong families, and civil society, all of which lay the groundwork for a more prosperous America.
