Internship

The Badger Institute is seeking Interns to join us for the summer or during the school year.  

The intern will be a contributing member of the overall team, with responsibilities that include research, writing, marketing and providing administrative support. The intern will gain valuable experience working in a nonprofit think tank with statewide reach. Local candidates may have the ability to extend, based on performance. 

The ideal candidate will be pursuing an undergraduate degree with a concentration in Political Science, Communications/Journalism, Marketing, Economics or a related field. He or she must possess the following key competencies: belief in free markets and limited government, sound judgement, quick learner, reliable, self-motivated with strong work ethic, eagerness to help all colleagues as needed, ability to accept feedback. 

This is a paid opportunity at $15/hour and requires a minimum 15 hour per week commitment, although greater availability would be ideal. The intern will work locally in our Milwaukee, WI office (this is not a remote position).
