Corey Hoze is senior vice president of government relations and regulatory affairs for Associated Banc-Corp, one of the top 50 financial services holding companies operating in the United States, with total assets of $34 billion and approximately 270 banking locations serving more than 150 communities in Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota. Hoze is responsible for planning, directing and implementing government relations and regulatory affairs efforts that build and sustain a favorable external environment for the achievement of Associated’s business objectives.
Prior to joining Associated, Hoze was director of the Milwaukee County Department of Health and Human Services, the largest local social services agency in Wisconsin. Additionally, Hoze has served in a number of roles in both the public and private sectors, including: regional director of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) under former Secretary Tommy G. Thompson, corporate relations manager for Miller Brewing Co. and administrator of the Division of Economic Development for the Wisconsin Department of Commerce. He has degrees in economics and religion from Pepperdine University and a law degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
