Badger Institute Symposium: Roundtable on Work, Poverty & Federal Safety Nets

The Badger Institute hosted a roundtable discussion on work, poverty and the use of federal safety nets to promote self-reliance. Panelists included Angela Rachidi, former deputy commissioner for New York City Department of Social Services from 2007-2015 and now is a Rowe Scholar in poverty studies at the American Enterprise Institute and author of the Badger Institute report "Wisconsin's Missing Rung;" Michael Luckey, research assistant for Rep. Mike Rohrakaste and former director of the Wisconsin Interagency Council on Homelessness; Aldira Aldape, Community Engagement Director for Americans For Prosperity Wisconsin.
